Ever since Matt Rosenberg’s column Blue City Republicans appeared in Seattle Weekly last year (before the existence of this blog), I’ve been meaning to write a counter piece to the many frustrating elements in it.  The column’s subtitle was “Meet Seattle’s Biggest Closet Cases: The Republicans Next Door” and this was more than just a [...]

Someone should have challenged him in the primary, but… “shoulda, coulda, woulda”…Now what?
Doug Parris has some thoughts.

Radicals Target Churches
“Pictures convey what words cannot.”  Check out the moving pictures (as in 4D Ultrasound ads) that you can help put on the air.
The editorial cartoons seen in some SD newspapers are quite powerful too!
Update: I’ve fixed the link to the editorial cartoons.  Select the slideshow option.

Here is what Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life has to say about the subject:
One of the key reasons the pro-life movement is not making more progress is that we so often assert before the public that abortion is an act of violence, but do not produce the evidence [...]

(The following is a message from RNC for Life)
Rush Limbaugh, the popular radio talk-show host whose program boasts a listening audience of 10 million people, blasted efforts by Democrats and other liberals to defeat incumbent pro-life Senator Jim Talent (R-MO) and, at the same time, urge passage of a constitutional amendment that would legalize [...]

This is great!  Watch it!  "Three conservatives and a liberal!"  Good discussion on abortion!

The U.S. Senate debate between McGavick-R, Cantwell-D, and Guthrie-L that took place on Tuesday night is getting much discussion.  Particularly, this tidbit, where McGavick placed himself "in the middle" of the abortion debate:
McGavick said "I find myself in the middle" of what he said were two extremes in the country between those who want [...]

There’s been a three day rampage by Rush Limbaugh over a "pre-mortem" written by blogger Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit who chronicles a list of items that he perceives many conservatives are disgruntled with their Republican elected officials over and suggests that many Republicans will choose to either stay home or opt out of voting in [...]

Don’t forget to pray for South Dakota every day from now until November 7.  And if you can do more than pray, find out how by going here.

It seems Life of the Party has hit a nerve.  Eric Earling, contributor to Sound Politics and frequent rhetorical sparring partner of mine, has a problem with my use of the term "Pro-Death Republicans" in naming the list of Republican groups who align themselves with the Culture of Death.  He says, "She might be able [...]

Does anyone follow this logic?  This is from Matt Rosenberg at Sound Politics (the leading blog at the moment in Washington for Republicans, conservatives and Libertarians). Number two in Rules For Gay Republicans and Others or of the "several lessons [that Foley's resignation carries]":
The vulnerability of closeted gay Republicans underscores that anyway, the party [...]

Who deserves the consequences in November elections for the Foley scandal?  Is it conservative Republicans for being "moral hypocrites"?  Or is it Democrats for pulling off this bombshell of an "October-Surprise"?  Both answers miss the mark.
The pundits are spinning out of control on both sides of the aisle.  False outrage at Republican sexual deviance [...]

Wasn’t I just asking if there was even one Republican speaking out on this?  Thank you Representative Bill Hinkle!  It’s good to know that there’s someone representing us with some sense!
I just have one issue with your statement.  Why should a pharmacist who, according to their professional and moral opinion, objects to prescribing certain drugs, [...]

I was planning to write about this, but I see Life Site has beat me to the punch:

Disgraced Congressman Foley was a Moderate "Pro-Choice" and "Pro-Gay Rights" Republican

Should it surprise us that a proponent of laws that normalize sexual license, would be likely to partake in the "benefits" of such laws?

Hat tip: Pro Ecclesia, [...]

If you’re looking for a way to make a contribution to the pro-life movement and have your money do the most good, look no further than our neighbors in South Dakota.  Pro-abortion forces from all over the country, including Republicans for Choice, are coming into the pro-life state of South Dakota, employing scare tactics and [...]

This is beyond frustrating!  Has anyone heard even one Republican politician come out and oppose Gov. Gregoire on her interference with Pharmacists excercising their right to conscience or right to opt out of legalized killing (publicly or otherwise)?   Or have the pro-abortion-choicers taken control of both parties?
From David Postman’s Seattle Times blog on Luke [...]
