The unprecedented surprise return of comic Dana Carvey and his 1st public appearance at the King County Lincoln Day Dinner this month are sure to draw national press attention…
It all began with a massive, re-awakened search to find the Showbiz celebrity whose soaring career was cut short by his baffling absence following Saturday Night Live and spin-off, Wayne’s World.

As you may know, Comedian Dana Carvey was at the height of his popularity in 1993 when he first turned down offers from CBS to succeed David Letterman in their 12:30 time slot and then dropped from public view completely. He was reputed to have made cryptic vows to friends that he would create a “Clean Slate” and made numerous associated references to “temporary amnesia” that same year. He left few clues as to his future whereabouts – at least that anyone understood at the time. He was assumed dead. But if his disappearance was strange his re-appearance has been even stranger. The first break since ’94 came in March, 2007 when a video from the Radio-Television Correspondents’ Association Dinner hit YouTube. People thought they recognized Carvey and his comic mannerisms. Calls began streaming in to the Center for Missing Persons. Based on the reports the Center went to work on the cold case file. First, Carvey’s old photo was aged to simulate his likely appearance in 2007 by Missing Children dot com to give the investigators a good idea of what he might look like today.

To the right of the text you will see two photos. The left one is what he looked like in 1993, before he disappeared; on its right the same photo has been aged to show what he would look like today. When the computer simulation was finished there was a collective gasp among the scientists. That’s when everything “clicked.” The photo was distributed and Carvey’s friends began to remember his friendship with the Bush family, his privately-known penchant for political tricks and his love for all-night drunken Raves with illegal Mexican immigrants.
Now that we know the truth, it is hard to understand how we missed it to begin with.
Comedian Dana Carvey, missing almost 14 years since his days on Saturday Night Live and Wayne’s World, has been found. And he’s running the Republican Party.

So here are the photos that will unravel the mystery: the personal transformation from Hollywood celebrity to the Washington DC teetotaler/comic politician known as “Bush’s Brain.”
First, we offer a series of three photographs. Can you tell which one (or ones) of them is “Karl Rove” and which is Dana Carvey?

In the next photos, Carvey, before his identity change, is on the left. His dnewly formed character, Karl Rove, is on the right. Once you look carefully (and know where to look) the evidence is overwhelming.

In the following photo, the “Missing Children” lab has put Carvey’s hair on Karl:He bears an eerie resemblance to “Church Lady.” These photos also shed real light on the “social conservative” strategy Rove employed for Bush in 2000 and 2004. Many thought Rove was pandering to the “Religious Right.” We now know he was simply recapitulating his role as Church Lady.

Once the lab had tried superimposing Carvey’s hair on a “Rove” photo (above), and the results were so dramatic (everyone at “Missing Children” saw a striking resemblance), they decided to do it in reverse, putting “Karl Rove’s” hair on a Dana Carvey photo. The results were conslusive. Examine the two side-by-side photos on the right for youself. One of them is Presidential Advisor, head of the Office of Political Affairs, head of the Office of Public Liaison, head of the White House Office of Strategic Initiatives, “political consultant,” and Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush, Karl Rove; the other is the man who created all of those roles, comedian Dana Carvey.Outside of the age difference, can you tell which one is which?
Rove’s speech at the King County (Washington) Republican dinner April 14, (thus commemorating the day Abraham Lincoln was shot) will be Carvey’s first public appearance since the discovery of his identity switch. For only $100 attendees can get long shot odds at asking Dana…er… Karl what it was that motivated him to leave TV comedy for political tragedy, that is, just what compelled him to try to sell out the interests of American citizens for the benefit of 30 million foreign criminals?
