Jay Sekulow’s American Center for Law and Justice seemed surprisingly uninterested in the availability of free Mitt Romney posters when I contacted them, today. I can’t figure out why…Sekulow, the driving force and guiding light of the hitherto conservative ACLJ, recently sent me a letter touting Romney’s supposed record as Governor of the People’s Republic of Massachusetts. Jay said that:
- Mitt governed as a conservative in America’s most liberal state; and he was later elected by his colleagues as Chairman of the Republican Governor’s Association
- Mitt restored integrity, order, and fiscal responsibility to the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games
- Mitt defended the institution of marriage by leading the effort for a constitutional amendment to preserve its traditional definition.
- As Governor, Mitt always came down on the side of life
Now, it is true that Mitt came down on the side of life and marriage, because he almost always comes down on every side of every issue. He both opposed and supported Marriage. He both opposed and supported Life. We covered all this months ago, here:
And while we might quibble over Sekulow’s confusion of Mitt’s fascist health care program (Link) with a conservative health care position or his one-sided typification of Mitt’s two-faced positioning, certainly Sekulow, having branded Romney’s policies “conservative” would then want to promote them, wouldn’t he?
But his office turned down flat my offer of the user-printable poster.
I didn’t give up easily. I suggested Jay could put it up at his home and it could be posted on the walls of the American Center for Law and Justice office. They could also distribute it to their mailing list, virtually cost free! Their supporters could print out as many as they wanted from the jpeg on their computer printers. Still no interest.
Why did they say I was being sarcastic?
This was an undeniable part of how Mitt Romney “GOVERNED AS A CONSERVATIVE.” Wouldn’t they want to promote it?
I guess I’ll just have to offer it to Bob Jones III. Someone has got to have the courage to stand up for what Romney believes in.
Click on the image to get the full-size Jpeg. You can then print it out for your own use (distribution, wall decoration, etc.)
The 8-1/2″ X 11″ poster was a flyer the Romney campaign used to salute and endorse the homosexual rights movement on the occasion of their weekend of annual festivities. As it happens, they did, in fact, have a GREAT GAY PRIDE WEEKEND! ← Click for more photos (You can print these out, too, Jay!)

Well…Looks like Romney has his own share of conservative support - http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/10/20/romney-wins-in-conservative-voters-poll/
Even the audience support was for Mike Huckabee and not Fred ‘lazy’ Thompson or even Tom ‘extremist’ Tancredo.
“Moderate Conservative?” Why don’t you just call yourself “Oxy Moron?”
Huckabee appeals to social conservatives who are so burnt over by the GOP’s war on children they don’t stop to find out whether or not a candidate actually believes in the fundamentals of private property and free enterprise. Huckabee doesn’t.
Tell me… what is “extemist” about Tancredo… to a self contradictory “conservative” such as yourself?
> Tell me… what is “extemist” about Tancredo… to a self contradictory “conservative” such as yourself?
Just follow his statements (without any real work) on immigration or war on terror or anything else…you will realize. If you already followed them and still asking this question, then what kind of illiterate are you?

You need to improve on your excuse making skills once you learn how to debate respectfully.
“Debate repectfully??” You come here anonymously, so you can throw rocks without taking responsibility, and begin making false allegations. You hurl scurrilous lies about Tancredo and Thompson without a hint of substantiation, even when challenged, and then complain about whether or not I can debate “respectfully?” That’s pitiful.
You obviously like to talk trash you can’t back up.
I’m not one to quibble about your “style” if you have something to say besides name-calling, but, so far, you’ve got zilch. You don’t need to learn how to debate “respectfully” you need to learn how to debate at all.
