The abortion gals at NARAL have not given Dan Satterberg (R) their endorsement but they do list him as “100% pro-choice.”
Without seeing the NARAL questionnaire I can only guess that to get a 100% rating you need to have signed onto the abortion industry’s agenda and will continue to allow the abortion industry to reign unquestioned and unchallenged. Dan would have had to sign off on all of the following: any abortion for any reason or no reason, teen abortions, tax-payer funded birth control and abortion, educating your kids on how to put on a condom, schools referring for abortions and handing out contraception. Dan would have to be against informed consent, waiting periods, or parental notification laws.
Of course, if a woman is hurt by an abortionist don’t expect Dan to lift much of a finger in the prosecutor’s office.
Sadly, he is also endorsed by Steve Hammond. How can someone who gets a 100% endorsement from NARAL also get an endorsement from a Christian pastor?
Dan’s Issues page is a classic. Take a look at a politician’s issues page and see if you can spot the hypocrisies and shallowness. There are always some howlers. You’ll have the most pro-abortion politicians claiming their love for children - think Nancy Pelosi.
Good old Dan is concerned about “animal cruelty” and a poor, helpless donkey named “Pasado” who was savagely beaten to death. Dave Reichert was concerned about remote animal hunting (but not Terri Schiavo). Politicians must be desperate to appear compassionate so they hype up these issues they think will resonate with the public.
“The more he professed his honor the faster we counted the silverware.”
