Losing The Gender Wars
July 2, 2008 by Nancy Morgan
As James Madison pointed out in his famous 10th essay in The Federalist, “the primary source of danger is the propensity of men to form factions enabling a majority to oppress minorities.” *
What Madison didn’t count on was the tyranny of the minority. In this case, the minority of homosexuals and other sexually, well, differently orientated individuals who are well on their way towards permanently altering the 2,000 year-old tradition of family and gender roles.
Last weekend saw homosexuals across the world gathering
to express their pride.
(I’m not sure what they’re so proud of.) Tens of thousands joined gay pride marches across Europe. Thousands marched in Jerusalem and in San Francisco, lesbians thronged to Dolores Park for their very own annual Dyke Festival and March.
The homosexual agenda is flourishing, having garnered the support of politicians, educators, various religious factions and of course, the media. In covering the gay marches in Europe, Brietbart reported, ‘Gay pride marches in Europe marred by homophobia.‘
Dissenters were cavalierly described as extremists and right-wingers. So now its official. If you don’t actively endorse this alternative lifestyle, you’re automatically labeled homophobic. The voices of those who have moral or societal objections to homosexuality have been rendered moot.
Government schools are and have been, thoroughly indoctrinating young students into the belief that homosexuality is now merely a lifestyle option. That gender is optional. In one Massachusetts school, officials scrambled to accommodate a 13 year-old who decided he wanted to be a girl.
A state funded organization in Maine is touting a seminar that essentially teaches kids how to be homosexual. And government schools across the country recently celebrated the annual ‘Day of Silence,’ sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education network (GLSEN). Meanwhile, 3rd graders are treated to the video ‘Heather Has Two Mommies’.
In New York juvenile detention centers, a new policy allows confused sensitive youths to wear girls clothing and be called by feminine names. They can even opt for special housing if other youths discriminate against them as they prance around in skirts and make-up.
A doctor at the renown Children’s Hospital Boston has launched a new program to drug children to delay puberty so they can decide which gender they want to be. That’s right. Gender is now considered optional.
Our elected officials, who are so concerned with ‘the children,’ are actively supporting this dangerous lifestyle. Two openly gay members of Congress got 50 of their colleagues to officially join them in promoting the homosexual agenda in Congress. We now have a House Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Caucus.
Meanwhile, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has appointed a director for his new Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender voter outreach program. His wife Michelle is making waves and getting standing ovations from gay groups as she promises them her husband’s complete support.
Across the pond,
UK lesbian mothers recently won landmark parental rights as MP’s voted to remove the requirement that fertility clinics consider a child’s need for a father. Translation: fathers are no longer needed.
In Paris, a fashion show featuring a menswear collection was a hit as they blurred the gender lines, outfitting men in lace, ruffles and make-up.It is now accepted practice for homosexuals to be portrayed in the media in the most flattering light. Most shows feature at least one sensitive soul bravely standing up against mean homophobes. Yeah. And let’s not forget the lovely commercial Heinz just launched. They portrayed two men and a young boy as a normal family unit, the two men exchanging a mouth kiss as one heads off to work. I’m still trying to figure out what men swapping spit has to do with the sale of mayonnaise.
The normalization of homosexuality and transgendered, uh, people, and the celebration of their lifestyle has gone beyond mere tolerance to the almost complete blurring of lines between male and female. With ramifications that far exceed personal choice, affecting both society and the future of our country.
This American is wondering how the rights of less than 5% of the population can so thoroughly trump the rights of the majority. Especially in light of the fact that the practice of homosexuality can be deadly to its practitioners and destructive to society.
The number of young homosexual men newly diagnosed with the deadly HIV virus is rising at the rate of 12% a year. In a Pennsylvania school district, so many cases of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) were found that the Centers For Disease Control had to step in to screen students for AIDS.
Research showing that children raised openly by homosexual parents are more likely to engage in homosexual behavior themselves is swept under the carpet. As are any and all facts that challenge the notion of homosexuality as natural and normal.
The gay lobby has succeeded in redefining marriage. Now, instead of a social compact designed to foster children and family units for the good of the country, its meaning has been expanded to include, well, any combination of individuals at whim. This essentially marginalizes the institution of marriage, and the institution of family, which have served as the backbones of our country since its inception.
As Shmuley Boteach points out in Disappearing Babies, “Never before in history has civilization skewed more away from the needs of the community and toward the aggrandizement of the individual.”
At risk is not only the disintigration of the family but the forced coercion of millions of Americans whose valid objections are completely ignored. Allowing a miniscule portion of our population to set the agenda for the rest of the country is just not right.

Looking at those fashion show pics I suspect some people with dark thoughts are trying to invoke something.
I will never understand why people rail so much against the gay lifestyle. Why not just allow gay people to live their lives outside of your awareness, if you are so offended by it.
It’s not like they are asking for more rights than we straight folks have always had. It’s not like they are attempting to convert you or I to their lifestyle.
But I’m sure you’ve been given this line of reasoning many times, and you just won’t hear it. Right?
Welcome to a new and rational world, where people put aside their prejudices for the greater good! I hope you are never successful at pushing public opinion back to intolerance.
But I do at least recognize your right to speak out about your beliefs. In fact, its great to have your kind of free speech convincing others that intolerance really is a sad trait to own so fervently.
Rick,
1. What is this “railing” to which you refer?
2. “Gay” people “lived their lives outside of society’s awareness” pretty much until the ’60s. They’re not content with that anymore. What’s driving their quest for society’s approval is their dogma that their sense of guilt has been generated by society and they want to palliate that feeling, to believe it is society’s fault. But, of course, that is an illusion. When, at the age of 7, I stole a candy bar at a local store, my “sense” of guilt was driven, not by society, but by my actual guilt. I was wrong and I knew it. There was no one there to convince me that I had a right to that candy bar because of the opression of my class by that capitalist. There was no “opressed proletariat community” to support me.
3. Every homosexual act engages the destruction of two lives. That is not a “right.” To say that they are asking for only what “straight people” have makes the assumption that there is no significant difference between sexuality and sexual perversion – a case you haven’t even attempted. That is like assuming, without argument, that there is no difference between drinking a cow’s milk and drinking a cow’s urine, since they are both just the excretions of cows. You simply assume precisely that kind of thing about sex acts. And your assumption is in deep error.
4. “Conversion” to sexual perversions, is a serious oversimplification of the process. “Conversion” is a rational process. People are not “converted” to drug addiction, but, indeed, usually seduced/coerced by circumstances and weakness. Homosexuality is even more complex. The common recurrance of parental abuse or dysfunction in the background of homosexually-addicted persons is a tragic fact that argues forcefully against either a diagnosis of simple “choice” or a reaction of “hate” to the victim but also against enablement.
But there is absolutely no question that there is no controlling genetic component, nor any other factor that is beyond the ultimate control of the individual.
5. You say, “…you’ve been given this line of reasoning many times…”
What line of reasoning? You simply made a series of derogatory insults based on your prejudice:
a. that those who are opposed to the gay lifestyle are driven by prejudice
b. that we are personally “offended” by the “gay lifestyle”
c. that we are “irrational” and
d. driven by intolerance.
6. I see you hail a “new world” where people “put aside their prejudices.” I certainly hope that this new rationality extends to your prejudice against those who, like me, you obviously have stereotyped and denigrated in your own mind, because they disagreed with your preconceptions. You happen to be, demonstrably, in the wrong on every point.
7. You exalt “tolerance.” But, unless I’ve missed my guess, you have different intolerances. Would you “tolerate” alcoholism in your spouse? Physical abuse of your sister by her husband? Necrophilia? Canabalism? Pederasty? Rape?
Do you wish to legalize all narcotics?
What about people that have a different “property orientation” than you and simply wish to share all things? Do you refer to them with the names of bigotry: “thief” or “burglar”? Do you support imprisoning them, just based on your egocentric interpretation of “ownership”? What makes you think you “own” anything? Just being in the majority?
Imagine no posessions – I wonder if you can – nothing to kill or die for, a brotherhood of man. Imagine all the people living for the day! and everyone owns everything! Just take what you want! No need to be chained to the slavery of labor for hire or be limited by the “money” in your pocket! A whole new and rational world, where people put aside their prejudices for the greater good!
Unfortunately Israel has had gay pride parades for several years now.

What was new this year is that India is now having gay rights parades.

Communications and the media is how this agenda is being empowered.
The media gives focus to this minority as well as making it seem credible.
You must ask yourself, why do the powers that be, even the owners of the media, allow this agenda to continue?
Although, I dont have the answer it seems as though there is some other/larger agenda at the social engineering level of the game.
Like the puppeteers are bored and have decided to see how humankind handles this transition.
I for one find this as boring as I do annoying.
Like all things, reminiscent of the 60′s, this too will pass.
tj I pride myself on being realistic and although I hate it I saw a show about China yesterday and even there they are starting to have gay clubs where a generation ago that would not be allowed.
No, this will not pass. It will just get worse. India has seen its first gay parade with more to follow and they have been marching down the streets of Jerusalem for several years now.

I still say the biggest news this year is regarding India because this was the first time they really came out there.
