Speculation that Trig Palin, her youngest son was actually her daugher Bristol’s child (a medical impossibility)
Excoration of the Governor for choosing to give birth to her handicapped baby
Lies about Troopergate
Lies about banning books
Lies about the Bridge to Nowhere
References to Palin and her family as “white trash”
Accusations of racism for wearing a white jacket at a campaign rally
Distortions of things she’d said in interviews (e.g. Tina Fey, “I can see Russia from my house”)
Hostile, unfair interviews at the hands of Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric
Backstabbing from McCain insiders including unsubstantiated charges of having “post partum depression”
References to being a “slutty flight attendant”
Verbal sexual assaults on her 14 year-old daughter by a perverted 60+ year-old comedian
Refusal to acknowledge or publicize any of her accomplishments like the natural gas pipeline and the fact that Alaska under her leadership, is one of the country’s most fiscally solvent states
15 bogus ethics charges resulting in $500,000 of legal fees
Recent, despicable photoshops of her Down syndrome baby

Jesus Christ was called a drunk and a glutton, John the baptist did not party or drink so they accused him of being demon possessed.
Any of God’s children will be attacked for displaying virtue for virtue is a great enemy to the “god of this world.”
Jesus Christ spoke of this “world’s own” as being white washed walls, graves filled with dead bones, poisonous snakes full of venom.
I live in awe of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and I take comfort that God is just and He will repay !
We all must remember this about the enemy we face, the Left and the Left is in BOTH the Republican and Democratic Parties. They are not merely wrong. They are indeed evil.
We forget this over and over again.
During the 2008 campaign season I was curious as to what were the people of Iowa listening to while playing the critical role they play in the Presidential nomination process.
Well like always I searched Google and came up with a conservative talk radio station called WHO-AM 1040. It is powerful 50,000 Watt AM station that also broadcasts on the internet.
For us Reagan fans it is of note that Ronald Reagan began his career there from 1933-1937. WHO’s enormous signal gave Reagan exposure around the country. He became a celebrity in Des Moines, announcing Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox baseball games based on wire reports over ticker tapes.
Reagan’s interviews with visiting movie stars and others is thought to have lent some encouragement to his interest in starring in movies. In 1935, he began spending summer vacations with the Cubs at training camp on Catalina Island in California. Using some of his contacts from interviews at WHO, Reagan managed to win a screen test and in 1937, he left WHO and began his time in Hollywood.
Well, that is all interesting history but I wanted to know what local talk show hosts were saying about the Presidential candidates and that is what attracted me to WHO-AM and to one host in particular – Steve Deace).
Yeah, my name is also Steve but I am not Steve Deace though one might get that impression from all the stuff I post from him. His show can be listed to live by going to the WHO-AM website from 2PM to 5PM Pacific Time (I translated from Des Moines time where it is 4PM to 7PM). Also much of his stuff is archived so people can here it later. Many talk show hosts are beginning to do that.
Well, that was a way to long intro. But it will be interesting today, since his talk show audience are the people of Iowa to hear their reactions to the news about Palin. If you are reading this before 2PM Monday, July 6th then I recommend listening to him on line at that time by going to this website and click listen live.

Otherwise I am pretty sure that he will have the audio up quickly after the broadcast to listen to at your convenience.

I am particularily interested in how people respond to the question he asked on his blog
Here is what he (not me) posted.

The Republican-leaning Washington Times recently published the below-linked article about how the GOP is distancing itself from its Christian base. The reason given is because so many “Christian leaders” have been caught in moral failings it makes them look like hypocrites when they hammer Democrats for immorality they are currently compromised by themselves.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jun/25/social-conservatives-fall-from-moral-high-ground/
One person quoted frequently in the article is Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council. Perkins himself is compromised because he called Mitt Romney a “friend to the pro-family movement,” even though Romney unilaterally and illegally became America’s first sodomy marriage governor and signed into law a mandated healthcare plan that called for $50 elective abortions paid for by taxpayers.
My question to you this Monday is do you think the hypocrisy of its leaders gives the GOP a legitimate excuse to distance itself from its Christian base? Or do you think it’s the excuse being used for the Republican Party to do what the Republican Party has really wanted to do for a long time — which is distance itself from its Christian base?
Email your answers (try to keep it at 250 words or less) to SteveDeace@whoradio.com and I will post them on the blog tomorrow.
See you at 4 p.m. today. We’ll discuss Sarah Palin’s “risky” (according to Karl Rove) move, and we’ll interview new GOP gubernatorial candidate Christian Fong.
I became a fan of Steve Deace during the election because I felt back then that even though he was a local Iowan host he was giving me some of the most honest and insightful commentary on national issues that I had ever heard anywhere.
I have continued to be a fan of him since the election and although I live in Washington State I can still relate to the significant RINO problems the Iowan GOP is having. And given the importance of this state to the Presidential election process, even though that is a state issue, I still find it of interest. And then of course a lot of his topics are of national scope as well so the fact that he is a local talk show host of another state than mine doesn’t diminish my interest when he talks about those issues.
So, I do check out his blog frequently and I listen to many of his programs, mostly through the archives as I am often busy from 2 to 5 PM when his show is on live.

This one Iowan blogger thinks she is done.

Can’t say that’s the Iowan view for all conservatives but it does reflect at least one of the Iowans who would be voting in the Presidential Primaries there.
This audio from the David Boze show has a good discussion on Sarah Palin and how the Republican Elite have so ruthlessly attacked her.
Not that I am a particular fan of Dave Boze. He is too much the Republican Polyhack (Political Hack) for me but he still puts together a good show every once in a while like the ones he did against Reichert (although he personally still supports him).
David Boze started out as a conservative activist and has gradually, over the years, sold his soul to the GOP pragmatic hacks for the (aparent) benefit of his career.
It is very sad. We took him information, in 2004, that proved the State Party and their allies in the administrations of the liberal-controlled counties, were illegally using the overt censorship of political speech to control the outcome of the U.S. Senate primary. (National Committeeman, then and now, Jeff Kent was a strong supporter of the practice.)
Boze did not find the issue newsworthy.
To fall as far as the Party has takes the acquiescence of many people. David Boze is, unfortunately, one of them.
Steve Deace asks his callers.
Should Palin Stay in the Republican Party.
Click the link and listen. It’s pretty good.
Meanwhile a poll has Obama neck to Neck with Romney for 2012. However I will have to go for Obama if Romney is the Republican candidate. Haven’t we learned from Bush? Romney would be no reprieve from Obama. He will lay the groundwork for someone even worse than Obama. Just like Bush laid the groundwork for Obama,
Obama is having problems getting his socialized medicine plan through. I fear that Romney might succeed in giving America socialized Medicine.
Fear the Wolf in Sheep’s clothing more than the wolf who shows the world what he is. I believe Romney “could go to China” on the issue of health care.
