The people who believe that the North American Union is nothing but a drummed-up conspiracy theory don’t hold back their vitriol for people like me. Michael Medved, a ["]conservative["] talk-radio host (and someone I generally agree with), is one of those people. In a column blasting those who fear an EU-style union for North America, Medved was extraordinarily creative with his insults. †

More Medved “Moderate” “Mainstream” Milquetoast Misinformation: 11/23/’09 Quote Of The Week
November 23, 2009 by Doug Parris

I am more and more confident that we conservatives must play the role of “spoiler” in 2010.
That means if the Republicans puts up a RINO in any race don’t vote for the RINO but instead vote third party or do not vote.
THE WORST thing that could happen right now is another “Republican Revolution” that is really a victory for the RINOS and gets us into another situation where the Republican party keeps stabbing us in the back.
The Republican party has made it clear that they want so called “value voters” to shut up and “get to the back of the bus”. This at a time when so called “value issues” are becoming to be at a critical stage.
Forget about this so called 80-20 thing when the 20 percent is what we care about anyway. And where the 20 percent (values issues) have hit such a critical stage. And from what I see they can’t even deliver on most of the 80 percent as well as we saw with the increase in government growth and spending and the Bush Bailout.
First and foremost we should try to get conservatives elected. But when and where that’s not possible we must not get back on the Republican bandwagon by electing RINOS under the name of “lesser of two evils” because Wolves in Sheep’s clothing are actually the GREATER evil despite how much we might hate the Democrat the RINO might be running against.
We must let the dissatisfaction with the Democrats fester a bit longer until we have a REAL conservative party to fight them with. That most likely means “punting” on 2010 and just hoping that will be the wake up call the Republicans need.
If we must have 2010 be like what happened in the NY 23 and play the role of spoiler I say SO BE IT.
Far better that then letting the RINOS back into power. For in the end it just leads to having even more extreme Democrats later on and on the way RINOS past through bad stuff that the Democrats would have had a harder time passing through. Remember it took Nixon to go to China. Not saying one way or the other about whether that was a good idea or not but I just hope people understand the concept behind that statement and what it means regarding RINOS and health care, immigration, and other such issues. They might have an easier time getting such stuff through since they are seen as conservatives by a press who likes to spin such things to an uninformed public in such a way.
Perhaps a more modern take on the “Took Nixon to go to China” statement is it Took Bush to get the first Bailout passed. It took a perceived capitalist to get something so fiscally irresponsible through.
They have the nerve to talk about the “20 percent” (by which they typically mean so called “values issues” when they haven’t really delivered on much of the “80 percent” either proven by the increase of the size and scope of government during the recent years of Republican control of the House of Representatives and the disastrous Bush years.
We can’t let Obamafear make us run back into the expecting arms of the RINO controlled Republican party. They need to change or we need to stop supporting them!
Only when I see the tenor of Republican meetings reach the tenor of what we saw at the “Health Care” forum will I believe that a true revolution is happening.
Republican meetings must be antagonistic. I need to see leading Republicans start talking about fears of the “crazies are taking over” (By crazies I will know they really mean people who are concerned by the direction of their government and expect the Republicans to speak out and actually do something about it when they get into office).
I want to see like I saw with the healthcare forums You Tube videos angry citizens speaking out while the moderator says “we must keep this debate respectful”. Unless I see Republican meetings become shouting matches and more importantly until Republican leaders in this state see Republican meetings and conventions become full of people all angry and riled up, I will know that there will be no change in the Republican party and therefore I will have no expectation of any real change even if Republicans see victory at the polls.
All the Republican pundits are really excited to see all the people riled up at the health care forums. I am as well. I just believe we need to see republican meetings get like this too. Otherwise been that done that, and look at what it got us.
The slogans of this revolution sounds like the slogans of the last but the 1993 so called revolution didn’t really bring us much change but instead set the stage for the ONE.
Oh one more thing. I don’t like paying taxes but paying taxes isn’t what I stay up at night worrying about when worrying about where our country is headed. Republicans think they are going to win just on the issues of taxes, but I don’t think that the the tea party people are really only concerned about taxes but instead have a much broader concern regarding issues that aren’t even fiscally based.
And like I have said previously, how they behaved during their time in power doesn’t make me think they are going to come through on the tax issue anyway.
But even if they did, how about the rest of you. Would it be enough for them to be right with the tax issue if they were wrong about everything else? Is the tax issue everyone’s number one concern here?
Perhaps I am alone in saying that while higher taxes do bother me, as a conservative it’s not my number one issue or even does it hit my top ten of issues that concern me.
How does one figure this 20-80 thing anyway?
Are all issues awarded equal value?
Because in real life there are some issues that are more of a concern than others.
And like Steve said the Republicans haven’t even come through on much of what I guess THEY consider the 80 percent (fiscal issues).
Using the 80-20 thing I guess McCain should have voted for Obama since during the debates he sure seemed like he agreed with 80 percent of what Obama believed.
The Republicans that the Party puts out today fail dramatically below this 80 percent even if one would to value each issue as of equal value which they aren’t.
There are only two issues and they are closely related, the power of the purse and the power of the sword, government branches do not control either the purse or the sword, the world plutocrats do !
The only positive option for change for the better is organizations that create honest mediums of exchange to facilitate industry and a true justice system.
Economic war is waged against Americans every day and still people refuse to see the carnage and defend themselves, they argue about political process as the massacre continues.
Unite against the enemy or die.
In a country that at that time (2005) was led by a Republican House of Representatives a Republican President, and a Supreme Court with a majority of members who were appointed by Republicans Susette Kelo still was forced out of her house.
SO DON’T TELL ME THE REPUBLICANS ARE THE ANSWER. They weren’t the last time.
Here’s a link to a book about what happened.

Where was Medved back then? Well, I guess he felt he had to be silent since the Republicans were in control!
The Republicans just don’t have the credibility to take America back. Not unless there is FIRST a dramatic revolution WITHIN the Republican party.
And I won’t believe that is happening until I see youtube videos of Republican meetings and conventions where there is a lot of yelling at Republican leadership people and newspaper articles where republican leaders (RINOS) are quoted as being concerned about the wackos taking control of the party.
Until that happens conservatives must SPOIL any election that might result in a win for the RINOS despite how much we might hate the Democrat opponent.
That means as much as we might hate Darcy Burner still we shouldn’t run into the arms of Dave Reichert. (That is an hypothetical example as Darcy probably might not run again next year and Reichert might even run as a Democrat. But I hoped using a local example from the past two elections where conservatives failed to behave in the appropriate way to make my point).

“Only Homosexual Degenerates Win Power” –Gregory Klimov
In 1992 Martin L. Gross published a book called “Government Racket – Washington Waste from A to Z”.
It was books like his and a focus on government waste and corruption that helped lead to the so called “Republican Revolution of 1994″.
In 2000 he published a followup book (by then the Republicans had been in control of the house at least 5 years (1995-2000). Or perhaps to be fair given when the book was published four years if we don’t count 2000 as a full year when the book was published. In that book he found out that things were EVEN WORSE than he found in his last book when the Democrats were in control.
The Republicans talk about how fiscally responsible they will be if they just get back into power again. To that all I can say is they weren’t last time.
This is what the so called moderate Republicans did to Paul.

This is the enemy we FIRST must defeat before we can take on the Democrats.
Don’t let any member of this organization win next year even if it means a Democrat is elected.
Abolish statism now !
