In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might, beware our power, the Reagan Right.
For decades the unprincipled/Pragmatic GOP Left has manipulated the Washington State Republican Party further and further away from Reagan conservatism through the offices of the State Chair. For the last five years, we have exposed their operation, here on theReaganWing.com, going back as far as 1980, to cite specific history and explain their sabotage of our candidates and principles with stratagems like the Predators, the ANOINTING (Presumptive Nominee Scheme), the Candidate Censorship Agreement, the Star of David Strategy, etc. This year they’re rolling out a new one: the 12 MEMBER Nominating Committee.
They always cheat. And, although seasoned Conservatives always knew it, they didn’t share that knowledge for the same reason no one points out that Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed is a democrat. It isn’t considered “polite.” It’s like an arrest at a cocktail party; it disrupts the social environment.
Our reward for breaking the code of silence has been to become the target of horrible calculated slanders generated from the highest levels of the Party. The State Executive Board, the State Chairman and the Administrations of the most populous Counties have intentionally spread lies about Doug Parris and the Reagan Wing to cast doubt on our character because they can’t prevail if the evidence for our claims is examined. They said that I am a racist, have assaulted women, that I am crazy, can’t work with anyone who doesn’t agree with me 100%, that I have been banned from all Doubletree Hotels, am full of anger, belong to the KKK, and, doubtless, many more we haven’t uncovered.
Well, here we go again.
Last weekend in Yakima the usual WSRP suspects were up to their old tricks,
wheeling, dealing, lying, cheating, stealing,
all to control Republican outcomes for the benefit of the Left. So… we’ll tell you what’s going on, and… they’ll respond with ad hominem attacks and slander. We even plan to go back as we complete the reports on the King County Convention, and show where they laid the foundation for State Cheating, and expose their misdirection.
Behold we set before you black and white. But many who read these words will not invest the time to find out who’s telling the truth. Well, it’s your funeral. I’ll just apply Ben Franklin’s words to the Washington State GOP: He was asked,
Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”
A republic if you can keep it” responded Franklin.
But it’s too late to “keep” representative government of the WSRP. We’ve already lost it. Our question is whether or not we’ll fight to get it back.
From 1980 forward the Left Wing of the Republican Party has always managed to control our Senate nominations, to make sure they go to a liberal. The only exception to this was in 1998 when Linda Smith, at the peak of the Christian Coalition era, managed, by sheer grassroots power, to thwart their plans (plans to run the White Queen, Jennifer Dunn). But as their track record for losing becomes more and more obvious, the Midstreamers have had a “progressively” harder time finding the right candidate.
This year could be their Waterloo.
I’ll give you an overview, then we’ll spend some time filling in the blanks with documentation and detail. If you are like me and want to save the Republic, this will be worth your time.
- In 2000, the brilliant, evil and Anointed Senior Republican Socialist Senator Slade Gorton ran his career’s final race against previously defeated congressional candidate Maria Cantwell. It was at the end of the “3-network” media monopoly era.
Result? Narrow loss
- In 2004, George Nethercutt was the GOP liberals’ “anointed one” for the US Senate:
Result? LANDSLIDE LOSS: 55% – 43%
- In 2006, Mike McGavick was the even more liberal GOP Senate “anointed one”:
Result? BIGGER LANDSLIDE LOSS: 56.85% – 39.93%
Each of these losers had been Anointed over more conservative primary alternatives with the excuse of their one supposedly preeminent quality: Winability. Each was “the one who can win.”
All followed the unchanging campaign prescription of the GOP/left pragmatists: “be nondescript.”
All secured the nomination with the help of State Party cheating. All of them got what they deserved.
Dino Rossi’s mission, should he choose to accept it, is to be the 2010 Anointed One of the GOP Pragmatic Left. And he’s all but committed.
To repeat history.
[UPDATE: The SeattlePI.com Reports yesterday (5/5/2010) "With poll results all over the place, the latest statewide Elway Poll gives incumbent Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., a 51 percent to 34 percent lead over Dino Rossi, the best known of her potential Republican challengers."] That’s the problem. The State already thinks they know Rossi. He has, and will have, nothing new he hasn’t already tried in his recent statewide loss with the exact same voter base.]I like Dino Rossi and have supported his two previous bids for governor. Right now, he still could win the next one. I do not look forward to revealing what I have to tell you. But I have to tell you.
Why would the unprincipled GOP Left want Rossi? We’ll tell you.
How are they cheating? We’ll tell you.
What are their results, so far? We’ll show you.
What can be done about this? Hmmm, let me see…

Doug,
Thanks so much for your great articles. Your analysis is superb, and has been invaluable in navigating the campaign minefield.
Clint is a fine man. We have campaigned together. He would make a great Senator. He’s no man’s lackey. That’s why the GOP nomenklatura oppose him, but the grassroots loves him.
Dino is also a fine man, and I have always campaigned for him. He knows how to get past the RINOs, but has been defrauded before by the Progressives who still control King County elections. So, why bother?
So why should I, also a dark horse, bother to run against Dave “Cap and Trade” Reichert? Because his behavior in Congress is contributing to the destruction of the nation we all depend on for our survival. He has de facto forfeited his office. My platform is truly conservative and supports the traditional GOP platform. I’m the only Republican running in WA-8, and I’m the best candidate.
Getting to Congress is necessary for me to help save our nation from imminent destruction. I’ve been fighting America’s enemies as a military man for most of my life, and have watched them slowly slither into government. Corrupt local politicians become corrupt national politicians. They are always enabled by corrupt party organizations. But we can fix it.
Locally, I ignore the corrupt party hacks and go straight to the people. About 80% of the thousands of voters I’ve spoken with know Congress has to be dumped and that the hacks are accessories to the political and economic crimes against We The People.
Nationally, most Congressional operations and lawmaking will be pointless until Obama and his communist revolutionaries are jailed. There is massive and overwhelming public evidence of their racketeering, sedition, treason, and national security violations. Many House and Senate candidates I’ve spoken with are going to Congress not just to impeach, but effect the gangster revolutionaries’ immediate arrest and jailing. We really have no choice.

“Nationally, most Congressional operations and lawmaking will be pointless until Obama and his communist revolutionaries are jailed.”
Sure I agree with this statement but it ignores the truth about the bipartisan nature of the problem.
Obama wasn’t President when the Republican House of Representatives increased the size and scope of government.
Obama wasn’t President (yet) when Bush did the first bailout.
Obama isn’t running this year. I know the strategy this year is to try to make this year about Obama just like 1994 was about Clinton. Well, Clinton won re-election in 1996.
Let this campaign not be about “Obama Hate” however justified that hate is. For Obama is a symptom, not the disease. If we remove Obama without removing the other progressives IN BOTH PARTIES then another like Obama will rise in his place in another few election cycles.
“Sure I agree with this statement but it ignores the truth about the bipartisan nature of the problem.”
No, it doesn’t. It simply states the primary threat. The very fact that I’m a Republican running against an incumbent RINO evidences I fully realize the bipartisan nature of the problem. The paragraph prior to the above quote clearly shows I understand the bipartisan nature of the problem. My plank condemning the Congressional Republicans also proves I understand the bipartisan nature of the problem. Please read my entire website.
Bush arguably committed impeachable offenses, and I opposed him when he did.
Your disease analogy is inapt and stultifying. Obama, et al., are clearly waging war against this nation. Granted, Progressives in both parties (including King County) must be removed. The “Bush Hate” was an offensive tactic by revolutionaries. The “Obama Hate” has been our defensive response to those revolutionaries. It is justified and it must be acted upon. Denying that reality will kill us. You pose a false choice, because we can simultaneously hate (remove) Obama and remove Progressives in both parties.
Many of us candidates have ample proposals in our platforms to greatly help the nation, but they are mere pipe dreams unless and until the enemy’s primary command and control threat is removed. (To use an apt military analogy.)
Let’s not euphemize, this campaign is about national and global survival. The paradigm has shifted. We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto.
Thanks for your comment, Steve.
