It has been thirty days since Dino Rossi announced (May 26, 2010) his bid for the US Senate seat held by Patty Murray.
Still nothing at DinoRossi.com other than the “I am running” video and a “give me money” tab.
No Rossi signs visible on the eastside.
A lone report of a Rossi mailing this week.
No sightings of Rossi bumper stickers.
Hardly a sighting of the candidate.
No news stories since the Vancouver convention, unless you count some repackaging of the minimal facts of the Rossi “campaign” in the Tacoma paper and an announcement of a Washington DC fundraiser for Rossi being hosted by inside-the-beltway senators later this month.

Rossi just doesn’t have the “fire in the belly”. Maybe he did a couple of campaigns ago, he just a zombie now. There’s no energy … no excitement, nothing about Rossi inspires confidence.
To paraphrase: “We don’t need no stinkin’ retreads!”
Rossi is a historical figure – not someone we need to get thrashed by the Murray cabal. Momentum is on the side of new replacements with some fire in the belly and new ideas, untainted by prior “go along to get along” legislative experience. We need someone not afraid to break some china and hold to their principles instead of log-rolling for pork and invitations to cocktail parties.
