Does Rossi Respect Vox Populi?
Recently, Washington State citizens were treated with absolute contempt by career politicians in Olympia, who voted against the will of the people, by passing legislation to circumvent I-960, the voter initiative that limited tax increases and required a 2/3 majority vote to increase taxes. The outrage in connection with the establishment politicians’ decision to ignore the will of the people received little press attention despite the best efforts of citizens who believe government should live within its means.
In 2003, the very popular I-695 initiative that limited the fees on vehicle licensing to $35, was also cast aside by career politicians, showing complete disrespect for the will of the people. The establishment politicians in 2003 added and/or increased “fees” for vehicle licensing based on the gross vehicle weight.1 To date, these “fees” continue to increase.
Just as in 2010, citizens and voters, who believe government should live within its means, and understand that “fees” are just more taxes, were outraged, but there was no published outrage from establishment politicians in 2003. Why is that you ask? Because establishment favorite Dino Rossi led the Republican Majority in the senate to reach across the aisle. Dino “I never raised taxes” Rossi also voted against the will of the people.2 His support for a “fee” that ignored the majority of the citizens of this state is no different than the actions of other career politicians in their recent over-ride of I-960. It is also no different than the actions of US Senator Patty Murray, in her votes for ObamaCare, and for the nearly one trillion dollar stimulus package.
This disdain for the voice and the will of the people should not be ignored.
It is important for each voter in the State of Washington to understand the difference between the rhetoric of professional establishment politicians, and their actions. This year in Washington State, we have the opportunity to replace career politician Sen. Patty Murray with a real fiscal conservative who will listen to the voice of the people. Are you, the citizens, willing to replace Murray with another establishment politician? Rossi has proven with his actions that he is willing to vote against the will of the people, simply to further his political ambition. That seems more like the type of senator we have now. We deserve better than just switching one establishment politician for another. What we the people demand is a change ofa philosophy. We need to seriously downsize Government. Dino Rossi’s record says electing him would just be exchanging one career politician for another.

Awesome researching, Chuck! There is no way Dino would win the General if he should make it that far. People aren’t going to vote for the “same”, just with an “R” behind the name.
Dino really does fit in with the McCain, Snowe, Brown crowd, doesn’t he!
Have you thought about writing some letters to the editor on this type of stuff?
Sure few people read the newspaper these days.
It’s time for Didier to stop hauling dirt and start throwing it!
If Didler for whatever reason isn’t willing to go after Rossi, I guess others will have to on his behalf.
Steve,
“If Didler for whatever reason isn’t willing to go after Rossi, I guess others will have to on his behalf.”
That we will do. Rossi does it with his attack dogs Tom Forbes, Chris Widener, and several others popping in like Steve Berin and Sean Salazar. Difference is we deal with facts whereas they deal with dishonest twisting and turning facts to make Clint look bad.
In addition to your suggestion of Letters to the Editors, another one is to send documentation to different news contacts at newspapers and see if they’ll pick up on the story.
Good way to see exactly which media/reporters are in the tank covering up for Rossi also.
