From AFA: On Thursday, June 3, American Family Association delivered
474,161 petition signatures
to Home Depot chairman Frank Blake. AFA also addressed the board of directors and shareholders during their annual meeting.
AFA Vice-president Buddy Smith appealed to Chairman Blake to review Home Depot’s extensive support for homosexual activism and direct the company toward neutrality in the culture war.
Exercise discretion in viewing… Chairman Blake quickly discounted the petitions by reaffirming Home Depot’s commitment to dedicating corporate resources to groups who advocate gay marriage and the advancement of homosexuality and transgenderism.
In part, Chairman Blake said, “I hope all of our shareholders understand that we’re a company that respects the diversity of our associates, our customers, and the communities where we do business.”
Home Depot is sponsoring “Southern Maine Pride” in Portland, Maine next weekend.
Last year, Home Depot set up a Kid’s Workshop booth at the event. Children were exposed to “drag queens,” nudity, and other homosexual activities.
AFA is promoting a boycott of Home Depot until it agrees to remain neutral in the homosexual culture war.

Here is how it works in the real world:
You might wonder why the heck they can’t just sell tools and lumber and leave it at that.
But then you can also wonder why the heck can’t just anyone sell tools and lumber too.
So, why then, does the one company that just happens to get to be one of the big deals in selling tools and lumber just won’t drop the activism crap?
Well, perhaps it’s not just anybody (who can sell tools and lumber) running Home Depot?
In fact, I bet there are a lot of people who tried to sell tools and lumber who would have never done anything more than that (like getting involved in any kind of activism) but never would get as far as Home Depot did.
I would even bet that those who could have were cut down by regulations, laws, fees, and anything else that could be thrown at them. Most of them might just manage a hardware store on the corner when all is said and done. The more tenacious types had “accidents”.
I wonder how many CEOs of corporations that throw money at everything from the wrong kind of activism to NGOs that are trying to kill us just so happen to molest the same kids that our “representatives” get their hands on.
Nobody with intelligence having a corporation that does one thing well would risk ruining it UNLESS….
they had partners in (all kinds of) crime ready to squash the competition.
I recall an article about American soldiers raping another soldier (same sex, BTW) who was a foreigner serving to get citizenship. They told him “this is how America is run”. They were right.
