The following link describes events similitudes of which have become all too common. In essence, this is people in authority who have no inkling of the rule of law. We need to begin to consistently demand prison terms for Cops, Prosecutors, Judges and any other government operatives (like Presidents or Attorneys General) who think that they “ARE” the law and make it up as they go along.

But more than that we need to hold accountable Republican Party officials who violate rules and laws governing their actions and instead make up their own rules as they go along for their own benefit. Fredi Simpson, Chris Vance, Michael Young, Brent Boger, Nansen Malin, Luke Esser, Lori Sotelo, Bill Cooper, and, prominantly, Rob McKenna, come to mind, each of whom has used their position not as a servant of the Party or the public, but as a ticket to violate rules and laws with impugnity.

Aside from the observed activities of some of the named culprits in this article from Washington state, I am concerned that the accusation, not at all uncommon in police work, made by a self-confessed attorney friend of the governor, and self-confessed name dropper of many prominent political hacks of that state, will rest the case against an officer, from whom we are allowed to hear no statement or defense!
How typical of this day of hegemony, the global control age, especially in a state so rife with problems in the higher echelons of government, not unlike Washington State!
The problems and moral hazards visible here: like “favorites of the elite,” patron-ism and cronyism will very likely obscure a fair relation of the true events which thus far have condemned three members of law enforcement in the news media. You can very possibly expect rather that it will likely result in their punishment without trial, without sunshine on the truth, and further, without exposure of the crooked fraud permeating the [office of] governor down to the lowest levels of wasteful government!
(Playing the advocate: Not wanting to take the sobriety test due the gravel is as old an excuse and tactic as the gravel! Saying you “had no alcohol in connection with your meal,” does not mean you either had none all day and night nor prior to the meal, or are a teetotaler. Blowing zero some time later does not mean you could not have been impaired.)
It is far better to present stories with clear statement from both sides, and maybe an added dose of the political climate permeating the city, county or state involved!
To fall on the backs of local law enforcement without presenting just cause, is to do the dirty work of the communist and globalist attack upon true sound local law enforcement. Historically they have been a very useful and necessary element of limited constitutional government and the rule of law in a free society!
It is not local law enforcement the globalist and leftist seeks to uphold, but national police from far away, or global cops from the world over. These are the coming Orwellian tools of tyranny. These are the means of control of the serfs.
Just like party hacks, the deer in the headlights, the ‘foaming followers’ of the top-down party hierarchy are becoming shiny headed machines, who ‘think in slogans and talk in bullets!’
Have local law enforcement, once the friends of the neighborhood, the boon of liberty, become the victims of the party? Or, will they join the ranks of the machines of the party?!
@JSBach: “…not at all uncommon in police work.”
When my daughter was in high school, while driving my car she gave a ride to some teens from her school who had been in a bar. The police, we now know, followed her from the moment they got in the car. Driving through Lynnwood, she stopped at the light at 196th and 44th Ave. W. and made a “free right turn.” Within a block they pulled her over for “running a red light.” They were lying.
“I smell alcohol on your breath” said Duane, the badged ring leader in blue. He was lying.
My daughter and her passengers were taken into custody (illegally), given a breathalyzer and questioned at great length. My daughter’s breathalyzer proved that both the accusation and the arrest were false. I have the evidence.
Duane was very irritated at my intervention when I was called and at my extracation of my daughter from their violation of her rights. “They’re hiding something!” he assured me. She later told me the police had questioned them individually (at length) and told her, “We know what’s going on, you might as well just tell us.” They were lying.
Duane sent a fabricated notice to the Department of Licensing that my daughter had been DUI. Her license was suspended for 6 months. The absolute evidence to the contrary was insufficient to reverse the action without judicial action. Everyone I talked to admitted that the suspension was wrong. None of them cared. A minor, she was considered guilty until proven innocent. The proclivity to treat those so accused as subhuman seemed to me to be a part of modern police culture. My car had been towed for about $200. I had to hire an attorney. She was eventually totally exonerated. But where does she get back the time her license was suspended? My towing fee? Our time lost in process? My legal expenses? What price do the police pay for their lies and criminal behavior, Mr. Bach?
The attorney was very experienced in these kinds of cases. He says the reports all begin with an officer’s statement, “I smelled alcohol on [the subject's] breath.” He says it appears with religious regularity as a precursor to violating the 4th Amendment.
Apparently it is “…not at all uncommon in police work.”
Hey!!!!!!!1!!!!!
This is supposed to be a conservative website!!!! How dare you question the police!!!! You are supposed to say “we don’t know the whole story” and then slobber the collective e-peen of all things police and military, just like every conservative has been thoroughly indoctrinated.
Now for the usual:
Doug, you must be a liberal.
Are you soft on crime?
Do you want criminals to run free in the streets to kick your sister and rape the dog? I bet you do.
You are probably one of those long-haired dope-smoking hippies who bring this country down.
You are probably with Al Qaida too.
Now go say 10 pledges of allegiance, sing the Start Spangled Banner 5 times (all stanzas!!!), and maybe Bill O’Reilly won’t call you a pin head when he hears about this.
