The “Christian Scriptures,” appended to the Jewish ones to create the “Bible,” taken as a whole, evoke a picture of all humanity fleeing, together like the hapless passengers in the Poseidon Adventure (Twentieth Century Fox, 1972), through an inverted world. Ignoring true escape routes, oblivious to good advice, they travel dark passageways of history, punctuated, periodically, by oppressive world government and culminating in the World Government to end all world governments.
All current events tend to confirm, rather than deny, that picture.
Anarchy is the precursor, not to freedom, but to tyranny.
Greece
The spirit of destruction ran through the vagrants and shoppers downtown as if they were catching fire.
Windows shattered, chairs and tables scattered, serving platters went airborne, retail displays were overturned, cash registers emptied and papers strewn like confetti to the sound of shrieks, howls and uncontrolled laughter.
Ireland
It spilled quickly into the streets.
France
Crowds formed, subdivided or combined and surged in some direction or other in an atmosphere of surrealistic festival. Some latent restless rage, pent-up in the souls of the workforce, broke forth as though their dikes had crumbled before a psychic Tsunami.

Britain
The mounting physical wreckage was incalculable, its cause unknown and its geography, transcending the Western World, unknowable. But it was only the tip of the iceberg.

Let’s not make the mistake of trying to be nice to these people. That’s one of the things that didn’t work last time.
Timothy Lipson – If we were as our Constitution prescribes us to be, one would be able to “opt out”, thus negating the issue of being born into a social contract (at least having to stay in it).
As well, there would be no “police” state, so-to-speak, to be worried about. Plus, there’d be no more “victimeless’ crimes. There would also be much more recourse against officials, as there used to be, should they act up :)
The rest of the issue pertains to inherent issues with “man” apparently. If we leave our sheep unattended, you can’t be surprised if a wolf gets to them… we got away from guarding our liberty and what you described above, happened. That is from a lack of vigilance born of complacency. Our Republic can work for us, if we actually stuck to it.
I’d like to give it a try in my lifetime.
Arturo Ruggeroli – I truly am sorry, Timothy Lipson. Due to human nature the idea of such a thing is a unicorn. It cannot exist, it never has existed, and it never will. The only hope is to tell everyone, “There are no fucking unicorns!” the naive faith in a collective humanity that can somehow guide the lives of others is the ultimate arrogance in man. Hubris. Government replacing God.
Let each man be free to act upon his own conscience free from the persecution or insulation of state monopoly of force and a free market of ideas will flourish, leaving the corrupt fallacious ideologies to whither on the vine in such ripe conditions for liberty. I have no faith in any man to have the ability to guide the life of anyone effectively.
Men are not angels, and thus must not be granted divine status in intervening into other men’s lives. Should aggression be made against one who determines his own definition of liberty, the initiator of violence should expect nothing less than a righteous infliction of retributive justice.
All those who violate natural law, personal property rights,and the non-aggression principle should find themselves caught quickly in the sights of the righteously violent men who stand on their natural right to be free from coercion and force.
As for me, I shall endeavor to strive toward a greater independence from state mandates, dictates and other interventions into my personal affairs to the point I am able. And when the time is right, I shall find myself no more a revenue source for any state determination that I find morally or ethically objectionable.
At what point does one remove their sanction from that which they find abhorrent to their personal ideology? How many lies must we tell ourselves to believe that on balance the state is s force for liberty and justice, and not one that lives upon millions enslaved and dead left in the wake of it’s imperial aims?
