Terry Jones on the Passing of National Defense Authorization Act
[When is Mitt Romney going to say this? ~ Ed.]
The White House tweeted “Happy Bill of Rights Day” to commemorate the 220th anniversary of the Bill of Rights as the Senate voted in overwhelming favor to pass the NDAA bill empowering the President of the United States to have American citizens arrested without trial and to be incarcerated indefinitely in military prisons worldwide.
We, at Stand Up America Now, consider this to be a traitorous act against the citizens of the United States, against America and her freedoms that were guaranteed in the first ten amendments of the Constitution collectively called the Bill of Rights. The NDAA bill converts the office of President of the Unites States to a dictatorship. Our government has always been by the people and for the people. The National Defense Authorization Act passed by the Senate today will enable our government to imprison the people. It is time to take a stand for America and raise our voices against this action in order to preserve our freedoms.“
