Why the Left Will Ultimately Lose in America

The socialist/communist/fascist left in America has played on the public sympathy too long. The soothing liberal violins of pity have suddenly reached a screaming, raging crescendo of incessant greed.

More and more people are waking up. It may be the economic meltdown and the loss of the 3 Rs – Real Estate, Retirement, and Riches. It may be that their child turns to them and spouts some incredible pap that they learned in their commie school. It may be that they see one too many lies on their television. How many lies does it take to break the camel’s back, and make  sheeple into a people? It may be that some of THEIR rights are being infringed upon, not just their neighbor’s. It may be a run in with an overbearing, pompous, self-aggrandizing, power mad bureaucrat in one of the government agencies proliferating like rabbits. It may be that they find God and realize that it really isn’t right to expect the state to take care of you and raise your children, or to put it more bluntly, steal out of your neighbor’s paycheck so you can receive some benefit that you didn’t earn.

The Left can only get worse, can only get more totalitarian. There is no going back to nicey-nicey liberalism. In order to get their socialist utopia, they must destroy freedom in the USA. And that hurts. That causes a good deal of suffering and grief. People are beginning to feel the pain, and reject the idea that more spending will fix things. They are beginning to resent that they are being offered extended unemployment benefits, when what they really want is a job. They resent being offered a hand out, when destruction of the free market is denying them the ability to produce wealth of their own.

There are so many people in the US that just work their jobs, pay their taxes, ignore politics, suckle the media tit, and believe that they are free in the good ol’ USA. That is, until they rudely find out otherwise. That is, until some freedom-stealing leftist invades their personal space, until someone’s communist/socialist agenda smashes up against their belief that they are free.

As they watch their wealth disappearing entirely, there is an “Ah-hah!” moment.

How many times will a person get their pocket picked, before they say, “no more thief, be gone!” And at least with a real flesh and blood pickpocket, you don’t get a nauseating little speech about how really, you’re the guilty one and you deserve to get your pocket picked, and that he’s the victim of your oppression, so you owe him and by the way, because of that, he’ll be here next Thursday to pick your pocket again and you’d better show up with your wallet full and he’s also bringing his nasty little gang of friends and so on and so forth.

Once enough people are vandalized, you will hear the screams of freedom trampled. Then the sleeping giant will awake. Can you really bamboozle an entire population of people that had a government based on freedom and individual liberty into accepting a nanny/socialist/welfare police state? Is it really possible to brainwash a country full of people who truly believe they are free, take them over, and turn them into compliant slaves with no opposition?

But they may find out that they have made a serious misjudgment. Napoleon thought that he could conquer Russia. He really believed it. The obstinate Russians, losing battle after battle, just kept burning the cities before he could occupy them, leaving nothing behind. The peasants burned their hay rather than sell it to Napoleon to feed his horses. They destroyed their own crops rather than let Napoleon’s troops feed. Napoleon’s army starved fleeing the country and left the loot they did pillage behind. What good is loot if you have no boots in the snow? A lot of Russians starved, too. But they did not bow down to their enemies. In Europe, the people stayed in the cities and allowed Napoleon to move in with everything intact. Hey, let’s face it, in Europe they got used to being conquered and just tried to get it over and done with as little fuss as possible.

Unfortunately for Russia, they went straight from Monarchy to Communism, with no freedom intervening. The French had a moment to snatch at freedom, but missed the ball by demise-from-democracy before a Republic could be established and then went from Monarchy to Military Dictatorship. The British should have thrown out King George and rallied around Tom Paine when he moved there after the American Revolution to help them put together a Republic in Britain. But they didn’t. He barely escaped the country alive.

But Americans have had over 220 shining years of freedom, albeit diminishing a lot of late. America has remained in the blessed state of not being conquered during that time. But as freedom begins to more quickly fade away, as socialist policies weaken and damage the nation’s economy, the Left will no longer be able to disguise what they are doing. They have to keep pushing and pushing to achieve their goal. And the more the Left pushes, the more idiotic their demands, the more people wake up, with even many of their own supporters turning on them.

So come on Lefties, want to try and take America, think it’s gonna be easy? Want to die trying? Think that there are a lot of you and not so many of us? Think you’re better armed than we are? Think you can convince us to give up the Second Amendment? Think again. We’re the underground now; we’re the cool, romantic ones who believe in liberty and freedom. We’re the ones to join if you really want to fight oppression. There are a lot of good people who aren’t sayin’ much, aren’t doin’ much right now, but they are waiting and preparing. I know people that have been preparing thirty-forty years to fight you. And that’s some preparing! They’re the ones who have looked down your highway and know that uh-uh, they’re not going there. No way, no how. When will critical mass be reached? Probably, when you least expect it, when you think that your agenda is going along really well. Then that invisible and unknowable line will be breached and a storm will be unleashed which will knock you and your ilk back into the slime from whence you crawled.

Remember when Ted Turner wanted to pay our UN dues? ’Fraid we were gonna’ get kicked out and not even notice? ‘Fraid we would just wise up and realize we don’t need the stinkin’ commie UN, that they need us, so they can loot us? It is hysterical! The Federal Reserve hired Enron’s publicist to put a public relations spin on their looting of America. Laughable. Even a few Lefties might be waking up to the fact that their movement is being used, not to provide welfare to poor people, but to enslave the human race with debt, so that we’re all poor. What if our farmers or truckers decide to hunker down and feed themselves leaving the liberal urban intelligentsia to just go ahead and starve to death? Who really has the power? Think the military is going to rush to defend the poor, long suffering little leftist jerks who despise them? I don’t think so! If the cities implode, it will be leftist killing leftist. In times of stress, like crowded rats or chickens, they prey on their own. And more people will wake up and more people will come to our side!

What heroes can the Lefties claim? Marx, Stalin, Lenin, Mao or Hugo Chavez and Castro? Wow, what an inspiring bunch. What has history shown that they have to offer? Bloodshed, destruction and poverty. We have Jefferson, Adams, Madison, Franklin, Washington and Ron Paul. The historical figures built the most prosperous, productive Nation the world has ever seen. The Ron Paul/Liberty movement is working to save that. Which group do you think people would rather support, when they are up against the wall and have to make a choice?

Wait; do I hear the smallest violin in the world playing the smallest, weepy little song about how sorry I’m going to feel for you when you get your butts kicked? No, no I don’t. I only hear the glorious sound of the trumpets of freedom.
