According to Steven Marshall, a partner at Kirkland’s Cobalt Mortgage, organizers of the real estate seminar series featuring Dino Rossi grew nervous enough about the adverse publicity Rossi’s presence was generating, to cancel Rossi’s final appearance this week. Marshall’s comments today in the Seattle Times raise questions we think should have been raised as soon as Dino Rossi decided to enter the senate race.
Indeed, Mr Marshall did send out something with Dino’s picture in it and clearly the material was marketing Dino in the middle of a campaign since it was sent to potential attendees and investors after Rossi declared his candidacy on May 26, 2010. The Times story cites Democrat criticism of Rossi’s speaking engagements, but references a story from May 19, 2010, before Rossi officially announced his bid for Patty Murray’s seat, as well as a session the week of June 14.
